FAQ
Will you still photograph weddings in the PNW and Utah after moving to Texas?
Yes!! Moving to Texas definitely doesn't mean I'm done with the PNW or Utah. I love these places way too much to leave them behind. I'll be traveling back throughout the year and taking on a limited number of weddings and elopements in Washington, Oregon, and Utah.
Do you help with location planning?
Absolutely. You don't have to come to me with every detail figured out. If you know you want mountains, wildflowers, a moody beach, red rocks, or something pretty but you have no idea where...I'm here to help. We'll find somewhere that feels like you.
Are travel fees included in your pricing?
Yes! My destination collections are built with travel in mind, so you won't have to worry about booking me and then getting hit with a bunch of unexpected travel costs afterward. I'll walk you through exactly what's included when we chat about your plans.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We make it work! Especially in the PNW, the weather can have a mind of its own. We'll talk through a backup plan before your day so you aren't scrambling if the forecast decides to do something unexpected. And honestly? Some of my favorite photos have happened in less-than-perfect weather.
Can you recommend vendors, places to stay, and other things we might need?
Absolutely! If I know the area, I probably have a few favorite vendors and places to stay that I can send your way. And if I don't, I'm happy to help you find them. Planning a wedding somewhere you're not familiar with can feel overwhelming, and you definitely don't have to figure it all out alone.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can, especially for popular summer and fall dates. Since I'll be traveling back to the PNW and Utah from Texas, I only take a limited number of destination dates each year. But you don't need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. If you have a date and a general idea, that's enough to start a conversation.
